Info –
Currant's five-drawer chest carries simple, Mid-Century lines with softly rounded corners and a smooth profile finished on all four sides. Drawer boxes are solid bamboo, finished inside and out, built with English dovetail joinery and soft-closing under-mount glides. Sleek recessed pulls and legs that taper toward the floor complete the design.
Bamboo is a natural material: grain and color vary slightly from piece to piece, so every piece is one of a kind.
Inspired by Scandinavian modernism, the simple lines of the Currant five drawer high chest bring the simple elegance of Mid-Century design into the modern home. Beautifully finished on all four sides, the Currant’s smooth design and softly rounded corners show off the beautiful color and grain of the solid bamboo material. The Currant chests all feature solid bamboo drawer boxes, finished inside and out, and constructed using English dovetail joinery with soft closing, under mount drawer glides. Finishing the look are sleek recessed drawer pulls, and handsomely shaped legs which taper towards the floor.
Expertly crafted in earth friendly solid bamboo and shown in caramelized finish. No stain is used, the color is achieved through the process of caramelizing the natural sugars in the bamboo with heat and pressure. Variation in grain and color enrich the natural beauty of bamboo furniture and make each piece unique. Slight differences in bamboo shade colors are signs that the furniture has been crafted from solid bamboo and is considered a benchmark of quality. The Currant bedroom collection makes it easy for you to promote sustainability in a lovely, classic and functional way in your home.
